Indian payments technology firm Uvik’s made in India SoftPoS can turn Android phones with contactless technology into payments terminals without additional hardware, and both local and global banks are considering distributing it to reduce costs for small and medium retailers.
Uvik is also a technology leader in this space certified for PIN entry on Glass as well by the credit card schemes, including Visa, Mastercard, and RuPay after rigorous security testing.
